About

Bio

Scott Chalupa writes and teaches in Columbia, SC, where he earned an MFA at the University of South Carolina. When not indulging his current obsession with finding what's queer in religious texts and stories, he bakes to bring balance to life. He is the author of Quarantine (PANK Books, 2019). In 2016 he won the inaugural Graduate Student Creative Writing award from the South Atlantic MLA. His work has appeared Nimrod, pacificREVIEW, Beloit Poetry Journal, The South Atlantic Review, Tupelo Quarterly, HIV Here & Now, and other venues.
